We used the Green Gables team to install out new Narellan pool in the late 2022/ They were a dream to deal with from the initial inquiry (much faster response time and quotation than the others we approached)., advising us on the options and features we could choose, and supporting us with the required documents for the consent process. When it was time for the installation, it was smooth as clockwork. The project team arrived when they said they would and worked incredibly hard and to a very high standard. The subsequent aftercare, training and advice have also been great. I would thoroughly recommend the Green Gables team if you are considering installing a pool in the Northland region. Especially if you are in the Far North - do not be deterred by the fact they are from Whangarei and wondering if that will cost you more in travel costs - they were as competitive or better than anything else we saw in the market locally. Also, the Narellan pool shell is really great and produced in Hamilton, which removed another potential banana skin during Covid as no need to international shipping and getting through the ports.

Great job from Emma and the rest of Green Gables team with the Install of our Narellan Pool. All went without a hitch, from the excavation, to pool install and the concreate bond and coping stones. Also all the small problems along the way were solved without hassle by Emma, like removal of fill and arranging temporary fencing. The final hand over with Emile was great and had a really well explained walk through of all the ongoing pool care, filter and chemicals etc.

I was having trouble getting a Landscaper to lay the lawns and to supply and plant trees and shrubs at my new build and was pleased with Green Gables quick response and ability to work in a timeframe that suited us both. I would like to pass on how impressed I was with Jeremy and his team from the moment they arrived to completion of job 4 days later. They all worked so very hard, taking only the minumum of breaks ( morning tea & lunch only), always cheerful and whenever one had finished their job was always looking to help anyone else who needed it, yet they always had time to answer my questions. Nothing was ever assumed and always checking with me on how I wanted something from laying of edging, placing of plants to the best care of plants that was outside the norm. Nothing was too much trouble, especially when I changed my mind at the last moment to use coloured bark instead of river stones in one area. Their advice and suggestions were invaluable. I would have no hesitation to recommend Green Gables and by the way the grass is growing beautifully.

I had been trying to get some concrete paving done at my home for several months but kept having contractors either not show up to quote, or showing up, taking details and never coming back with the quote, nor any communication to say they weren’t interested in the job (it wasn’t a major project – just re-laying paths and a concrete pad at a residential property). The guys at Greengables on the other hand were quick to respond with a site visit & had measured up and quoted within a few days. They did tell me they were committed to other work for approx 3 months but assured me they were interested in the work & gave a realistic estimated start date. They arrived as planned and carried out the work very efficiently. Their front line workers were very obliging and cheerful as well as really skilled at what they were doing. The completed job exceeded my expectations and the site was left spic and span. I couldn’t ask more really. I’d definitely use them again, and would recommend their service to others.

Before we chose Green Gables as our swimming pool installer we obtained several quotes from other companies. One of the main reasons for choosing Green Gables was the fact that besides having a good reputation for quality, they were the only company to itemize the cost of each component of the project up front. The other companies were not prepared to do this. Consequently, we had a very good idea of what the final cost would be and it turned out that way. Green Gables started the project on time and were most professional in the way work was carried out. When we required a modification it was discussed up front and a price agreed before that work was carried out. No nasty price shocks at the end of the project. We now have a sparkling blue pool that has already been put to good use

We thank you for the easy process of the installation of our swimming pool, from us obtaining quotes in the beginning through to it being installed We found the quote presented well, with it being easy to tick the options that we required. Once the work was completed, the site was cleaned up and ready for us to carry on with the rest of our plans. They guys on the job were also pleasant and consideration whilst on the job. While we have had some settling in issues with some equipment, you have always sorted it out with no hassle to us. In my role as architect and project manager I have had the pleasure to work with Green Gables. We were tasked with the major flood damage repair of the swimming pool at Kaeo School.
