About Us
GreenGables Landscape has been contracting for 20 years in landscape design, construction & maintenance in the Whangarei area.
During this time, we have been involved in a variety of contracts both private and civil, including car-parks, new footpaths, planting, drainage, hot mix, retaining walls, lawn installation and fence construction.
Our many years of contracting in the greater Northland region have allowed us to forge strong ties to the community, business sectors, and local authorities.
Our performance record during all of our projects has been exemplary and we have an excellent reputation for quality workmanship.
We are Northland’s only full member of Landscaping New Zealand, and we are affiliated to the Northland Chamber of Commerce, Site Safe and Standards NZ.

GreenGables Landscape offer customers the support and advice of a qualified Landscape Designer and where necessary, the services of a registered engineer are used.
Bernard Luiten - Business Manager
- Responsible for landscape operations, maintenance operations, marketing and customer relations management.
- 20 years contracting experience including design, layout and construction of landscape projects.
- Approved handler, HITO Workplace Assessor.

Brian Earle - Foreman
- Is skilled in landscape construction.
- Has been with GreenGables for seven years. Prior to starting with GreenGables he spent 12 years in self employment.
- Brian hold a National Certificate in Horticulture Level 4 Landscaping (Advanced).
- Brian hold licenses for HT and wheels, tracks and rollers.

Leon Jarman-Taylor - Operations Manager
- Is skilled in landscape construction.
- Leon as worked for GreenGables Landscape for five years then worked in Christchurch to complete his apprenticehip and returned to GGL in 2007.
- Leon holds a Site Safe Supervisor certificate
- Leon holds a National Certificate in Horticulture Level 4 (advanced).
- Leon is skilled in all aspects of construction including roading, concrete works, drainage and concrete management.

Shaun Hacker - Maintenance Team Leader
- Is skilled in garden maintenance.
- Shaun has worked for GreenGables Landscape for 4 years undertaking ground maintenance for private and commercial customers.
- Prior to starting with us he was owner of a Property Maintenance Company.
- Shaun is Maintenance Manager for GGL and is responsible for one staff member.
